🖤❤️ Earlier this summer, Mrs. Telemko put out a call to let our staff know that GROW Healthy Kids was giving away free recess kits, and the response from our team was incredible! So many teachers expressed interest that the organization generously granted every K–5 classroom at East Lake a free recess kit! 🛝✨
📦 Today, those kits were delivered, and will be distributed soon! Our Eagles are ready to play, connect, and grow!
💡 What is GROW Recess?
Each fall, GROW Healthy Kids provides classic recess equipment to K–5 classrooms to promote independent play, improve focus, and build peer connections. These kits are portable and flexible, perfect for any recess zone, from paved loops to open fields.
