Dear East Lake Elementary Eagle Families,
What an incredible first quarter we've had! 🎉 Our students and staff spent the first nine weeks focused on setting meaningful individual, classroom, and schoolwide goals. By working together, staying focused, and embracing leadership opportunities, our Eagles have already accomplished so much. I am incredibly proud of the growth, determination, and positive attitudes I see throughout our school each day.
Every day, our teachers and students continue to work hard, support one another, and crush their goals! Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or throughout our community, our Eagles demonstrate what it means to be respectful, responsible, and ready to lead.
As we soar into Quarter 2, we are excited to continue building strong leaders and learners! 🌟

Our students are learning the importance of goal-setting, planning ahead, prioritizing tasks, and taking ownership of their learning. These habits help our Eagles become confident leaders both inside and outside the classroom.

Leader in Me is a school-wide program that helps students build leadership, responsibility, and life skills. Based on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, it encourages every child to discover their strengths and become confident, capable leaders—both in school and beyond.
Our Dual Language program supports academic success while helping students become bilingual and bicultural. Classes are taught in both English and Spanish, allowing students to strengthen their first language while learning a second.
Each one of our public schools has a full-time sworn law enforcement officer serving as a School Resource Officer on campus every day. Deputy Voight is back this year at East Lake!
As a Choice District, we allow parents to select the school they want their children to attend, as long as that school has capacity and program availability.
